About Our Produce Stand
After years of selling to local produce stands, Gerid finally achieved a lifelong dream when he purchased the produce stand in the fall of 2011. Thanks in part to his parents, Gerid inherited a portion of his grandfather’s farm; the place where his love for farming was born. It is on this land that our produce is grown. We strive to sell quality produce grown on our farm. As our business has grown and the familiar faces keep returning, we see our customers more as family and produce season as our reunion. We look foreword to continuing to grow our business for the next generation, our sweet daughter Emmaline and our adorable son Silas.

The Slocomb Tomato
What makes it so great?
You really don’t know what you are missing until you try a tomato sandwich or a BLT with a juicy and delicious Slocomb Tomato. But what makes the Slocomb tomato so great? I’m not sure anyone really knows. Some farmers say it’s not special just picked at the right time, but those farmers are too far to technically be growing a “Slocomb” tomato 😉 Some say it’s the weather and some the growing process. But we think it is all in the soil. There is something in the Slocomb soil that gives these tomatoes a better flavor than anywhere else. So if you have’t tried one yet, come see us at our produce stand! Your in for a real treat!
